Candace began attending Old Brashier’s Chapel in 2000 with her fiancé, now husband, Brad Cleland. They have been married eighteen years and have three children, Carter, Cade, and Averie. Candace and Brad are poultry and cattle farmers and Candace homeschools their children. They love this community and can’t imagine raising their family anywhere else.

Candace became the Nursery Director in 2015. She has a heart for children and loves spending time with the babies in the church nursery. She believes the nursery is a very important and influential part of a young child’s life, where they begin to develop a foundation in Christ. In the nursery, the children hear Bible stories and learn lessons and songs suited to them to help build that foundation.
